Trip to Ultrace 2023 | Wrocław Poland

This year, some of our JDM Latvia community and crew members are going on a journey to the grand automotive enthusiast event, Ultrace2023, in the city of Wroclaw, Poland. Several of our friends from Latvia will also participate in the exhibition this year. If you recognize us on the way or at the venue, feel free to join us! Updated! Wow, that was a unforgettable weekend! We had to go a 1000km from Riga to Wroclaw city in southwestern Poland. It’s Very nice and beautiful city, with good infrastructure and beautiful old town with modern night locals. The Stadion Wroclaw is the definitely the right place for Ultrace event hosting. After the COVID-19 pandemic, this event has reached the status of being the largest and best car enthusiast gathering in Europe. Participants from all over Europe, the United States, and various other countries (such as Japan, Ukraine, and UK) were present.

It is difficult to highlight any specific projects at the event because all the cars are special and carefully selected. Therefore, you can see a wide range of improved cars in one place. You will come across both VW Golf 1 and 2, as well as enhanced Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Nissan Skylines, Honda NSX, and other exclusive cars. The top 16 selection generates the most interest among visitors.

One of the jury members this year was the famous Wataru Kato from Liberty Walk, a renowned figure in the automotive world. He had brought his own projects, including the iconic Super Silhouette R34 Skyline.

Another noteworthy project is the modified kei-car bus named KEVIN by the guys from Nightride.pl, where an integrated retro motorcycle plays a engine role in the car’s interior.

By the way Marek, one from nightride.pl guys actually knows very well Latvian.

Parallel to the car show, a drift track was set up at the base of the Wroclaw stadium. Throughout the event, there were ongoing drift shows. The event also extensively represents various automotive industry companies that advertise their products and innovations for car maintenance and enhancement.

This is definitely an event worth attending for anyone who considers themselves a true petrolhead.
